So lately I've been looking into clipping coupon and the best way to get the biggest deal.
I'm going to try to blog my success and things I learn about couponing as I go!

Anyone having any tips...send them my way.

I want to share some great deals we got today not using coupons.

A couple of the Albertson's on Redwood Road are closing and everything was 75% off. There wasn't much left what we did get some good deals.

Everything in the picture price before discount was $128.07

Well Kezlyn is 18 months old.

She says, puppy, ducky, bath, da da, mama, baby, this, belly, nose, hi, bye bye, no and there is probably more...she has so much energy.
She loves dancing to music.
She know sign language for "please" and "more."
She is such a sweet happy girl!

I'm still making Hair Clips, Headbands and More. My booth is going well at the Quilted Bear in Provo. If anyone wants to check it out it is booth L7.

Jake is loving his job at Camp Williams.
He now works as a Training NCO with the unit 204 MEB.

Also we found a house!! Yay! Out in Eagle Mtn. Close to Jake's Work! We're hoping we will get to close by the end of the month...(keeping our fingers crossed) Here are a couple pictures of it right now. There is still a few more things that need to be done before it is complete. We are so excited for more space and not having to rent anymore.

A little update on the Carters...

Well we just wanted to do a quick update on what has been going on with us.
Well Jake started his full time AGR job, Unit Supply Sergeant with 489 BSB at Camp Williams the beginning of May and is loving every moment of it.

I'm renting a booth at the Provo Quilted Bear to sell my Hair Clips, Heabands, Hats, Tutus etc... I started this on May 15th and so far everything is going well. It keeps me busy and is a lot of fun! My business is called Kez Klipz obviously named after Kezlyn and is located in booth L7.

Kezlyn turned 1 on May 18. Wow! I can't believe how time flies. She loves to say "HI" and loves to Dance. She is such a happy little girl.

As a family we are in the process of looking for a home in eagle mountain or saratoga springs.

Kezlyn was so good and seemed to have so much fun!
She'd dance to the music and she'd say Hi to everyone.
She loved It's a small world. She even went on Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. She did fall asleep on the Haunted Mansion the first time we went on it.

Easter was great this year besides Kezlyn getting her first cold and it rained for the easter egg hunt. We had a family dinner and easter egg hunt at Mikee and Allison's home. We had over 300 eggs they covered their whole backyard. The kids all seemed to have fun.

This past weekend we went and watched my little brother, Cody's Swim Meet at BYU. I just want to say congrats to the SPRINGVILLE BOYS SWIM TEAM for winning State 2 years in a row! It all game down to the final boys relay. It was so intense...We were all so nervous, because Cody was swimming anchor. All four boys did great! Provo » Springville's Cody Fullmer has never thought to put it in words before. He doesn't think about what kind of strategy he has when he swims or what he focuses on. He just knows one thing and that's to go fast.

And there was no other time to go faster than when he swam anchor for Springville's 400 yard freestyle relay. The Red Devils had just a 10.5 lead over Snow Canyon heading into the final event of the Class 4A state championship at Brigham Young University on Saturday. Murray wasn't far behind with 233.

It was a close race for the team title and Mountain Crest and Snow Canyon had gotten off to better starts in the relay. The thought of all that weighed on Fullmer as he started his leg.

"Yeah, it was more pressure," Fullmer said. "I just had to swim like it was my last race."

Fullmer pulled through and he gave his team the first place finish with a time of 3:17.10. With that performance, Fullmer also assured his team its second straight state title.

"I was a little nervous because we knew it would be close all day," said Springville coach Amyee Hargett. "Murray and Snow Canyon were great competitors. Going into the last relay, it could have gone either way. They just all stepped up."

Springville had a slow start on the day as it didn't score in the first two events. But after Channing Miller and Garrett Pope took second and fifth, respectively, in the 100 yard free.

Here is a piece from the Daily Herald.

As the teams headed into the final race, the 400-yard freestyle relay, Springville held a slim 9.5-point lead. That meant the Red Devils needed to finish in third place or better to guarantee themselves the crown.

Things were a little tense early as the Red Devils found themselves in fifth in the first leg but slowly they made up ground, lap by lap.

As Springville turned for the final 25 yards to the finish line, junior Cody Fullmer had moved in front and he held on to get the win for the Red Devils, their second relay victory of the day -- not to mention the most important one.

For those who don't understand the way the points add up. Here is what I understand how it works. Well everyone from one school that qualified to swim, swims their race and there can be up to 3 heats of that race and the fastest time gets a certain amount of points and then the second fastest gets a certain amount of points and so on. These points add up and whoever has the most points WINS! So when you race you want to win for yourself and your team. Also you're not always going to have a team member in every race which can be hard on points. It is a very interesting sport but fun to watch!!

I am very proud of Cody and his hard work! I don't know how he does it. All us other kids played Soccer...not quite sure where this "fish" came from! I can't even swim!

Also Cody is participating in another "state meet," for you guys that don't know Cody is also a very talented artist. He has an amazing picture in the state competition. I haven't seen it yet. My parents saw it when Cody was working on it and said it is going to be a really neat picture. It is going to hang in the Springville Art Museum in a couple weeks to be judge. We're hoping to go view it soon! GOOD LUCK CODY!

A little update on how the carters are doing...

January went well. We celebrated my birthday on the 22nd. Jake and Kezlyn took me out to dinner. Nothing much is happening in February. Kezlyn is getting bigger and bigger. She is getting closer to crawling. She has 4 teeth coming in on top and with that I'm surprised she is still smiling. In March Jake and I will be celebrating our 6 year anniversary. 6 years...where has the time gone. Also in March Jake is going to Korea for 3 weeks. South Korea thank goodness....

Also I'm getting closer to getting my hair clips in some local stores. The main thing that is holding me back is I need my own UPC codes for my hair clips. Also if anyone knows of a company that can print me some hair clip and headband display cards with my company name on it please let me know. I'm excited about this opportunity. I'm glad that companies like my hair clips! I enjoy making them and I'm getting closer to my goal of having them in local stores.

Christmas Gift and Craft Show

So I've been making Girl Hair Clips for about a month now and really enjoy it. (Thank you to Jake for being patient with me...the house is covered with flowers, ribbon and embellishments and to Kezlyn for being my beautiful model!!) Anyways I decided to do a craft show. Where you rent a booth and people go shopping. well I'm doing I guess one the biggest craft shows in Utah County. I've never done a craft show before and I've never been to one. I'm kind of nervous but excited too. I just can't decide how many clips to make. If they sell well probably a lot since it last 2 days. hmmm....decisions. well if anyone has done a craft show with their creations and has any advice please feel free to leave a comment. KEZLYN ON A BIG GIRL SWING!!!

I took Kezlyn for a walk around the neighborhood my parents live in (we're staying with them for 2 weeks while Jake is gone at a 2 week training with the guard WE MISS HIM SO MUCH!!!) Cody Fullmer had a 4 day swim meet at Cottonwood Heights from June 18-21. The 1st day he swam the mile. The 2nd day he swam the 200 free and 400 IM. The 3rd day the 100 back and 400 free. The last day he swam the 200 IM, 100 free and 800 free. These 4 days were really busy. He did really well.

Hanging out at the Park

Today we decided to head over to the park and play some soccer and frisbee before we went to watch Krissly's little brother, Cody's swim meet in Salt Lake. It was a really HOT afternoon but really fun to run around and get some fresh air.

Syd, Alex and Jake played soccer and frisbee while Kezlyn and Krissly sat in the shade.

Lucas was born 5/13/08 and Kezlyn was born 5/18/08

Cousins getting their pictures taken for the first time together when they were a couple weeks old. This was taken at Primary Children's Hospital where Lucas Fullmer was hospitalized with digestive problems.
